Regarding our partnership with a prestigious Telecom player, we are currently looking for: Software Engineers Adobe Flex & WEB UI (m/f) LISBON Main Responsibility Area: We are looking for experienced user interface designers and developers. You know how to create intuitive, rich web user-interfaces with cutting-edge usability and look & feel. You will be working with latest technologies in a very agile, dynamic and customer centric environment. We will be working with vending machine companies and mobile operators providing software for central management of vending machines, promotion programs and cashless payments - as well as creating an m2m application marketplace - think of something similar to an Android/iPhone appstore and application developer platform. - You are familiar in creating mockup designs and hi-res prototypes of the application for use in concept walk-throughs with customers, end users and turning the mockup into a plan for development. - Develop web-based user interfaces using Adobe Flex, Actionscript, Javascript, AJAX and ExtJS. - Participate in use Case definition, user task analysis and other activities to capture user's needs and implement it in the system design. - Create user-centered designs, Self Explaining and intuitive for the End User. - Build visual hierarchy of the interface. - Play well with others. Collaborate across the multi-disciplinary team to evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions company and interact with our customers to define, design and ship new stuff. - Design and author fast-rendering, reusable components using technologies like Adobe Flex, Javascript, ext JS, CouchDB, jQuery. - Collaborate across the company and interact with our customers to define, design and ship new features. - Write maintainable code with extensive test coverage following TDD/BDD principles, working in a professional software engineering environment (with source control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, continuous deployment) - Improve the skills of everyone around you through discussion, debate, coaching and review. - Promote work in an agile mode. - We expect contemporary SW development skills - meaning skills in XML, HTML, Javascript (and other modern OO and DSL languages), Java, Linux, Spring, JPA, relational databases (Oracle and mySQL), and the normal development tools like Eclipse, mercurial, git, maven etc. Job Description: There are few things that we ask from you to be part of our team: - You love what you do because you do it really well - You enjoy and get inspired when you work with other talented developers - You still code, and still love it. Code is a creative expression for you. - We are a small team so we expect a great deal of flexibility and the capability to work on many levels – design, develop, create and execute test cases, work with databases, cloud environment, maven, Linux etc. - Good English is a required as well as good team working skills, motivation, flexibility, and desire to learn new things. Additional Requirements: - You’ve designed and built interactive (Ajax, flex) user interfaces; - You read up on and experiment with new technologies because it’s in your nature, not because it’s a job requirement.
