We are currently searching for Java Software Engineers for a high technological project. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a software engineering project of 3/4 months on mission critical areas. Profile: •BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; • 3-5 years experience in java based web application development, in both server and client sides; • Strong background in high performance enterprise SOA based environments; • Familiarity with commercial and open source SOA platforms; • Good knowledge of web services protocols not only including SOAP but also REST and XML-RPC; • Experience in development of GIS based applications for the internet using commercial or open source off-the-shelf components; • Experience in database application design using commercial and open source COTS products; • Experience in Agile SW development methodologies; • Experience in implementation of continuous integration environments; • Experience in assembling automated testing platforms; • Some experience in enterprise business continuity and web security related aspects will be advantageous • Outstanding oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in English. • Good organisation skills. • Availability to travel.
