Our client is a Multinational IT Company specialized in the design, development, implementation and support of Retail systems, working with some of the top international retailers, who is undergoing a global increase in their operational demand. Randstad Technologies, the IT Specialist of the world’s leading staffing organization, is currently responsible for the recruitment of Oracle DataBase Administrators (m/f). Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have as main roles and responsibilities: • Install and configure new Environments; • Upgrades and patches; • Support to development teams on database issues. Profile: • Degree in Information Technology areas; • Minimum 2 years of managing Oracle DataBases preferably on Unix platforms; • Good technical skills with Backup Oracle backup strategies; Export and import utilities; Database upgrade/migration; UNIX shell scripting; Basic oracle databases administrative tasks; SQL and PL/SQL; Oracle software and database installation; New databases and databases upgrades creation; Network so that clients can access databases configurations; Managing initialization parameters; Management of the database's storage structure; Managing tables, indexes, and other schema objects; • Good communication, customer facing and relationship building skills; • Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments; • Travel flexibility to and from client locations throughout the world; • Fluency in English.
