JDEdwards Help Desk Support Specialist The purpose of this role is to provide 1st Level Support in Edwards JDEdwards Help Desk department. This position will take place at Edwards office in Lisbon, Portugal. The JDEdwards Help Desk Support Specialist role is responsible to deliver superior services and provide best in class support to organization’s end users, within agreed service levels and framework. The JDE Help Desk Support Specialist will grant proper support to end users and 3rd Party warehouses calling or logging issues in a dedicate database, when facing troubles in ERP system. Key Activities & Accountabilities JDEdwards Help Desk The JDEdwards Help Desk Support Specialist will represent the single point of contact between the JDEdwards System Analyst and the Users and Super Users. The JDEdwards Help Desk Support Specialist manages incidents and issues and handles communication with the users. JDEdwards Help Desk Support Specialist receives requests from user’s or 3rd Parties trough the dedicated ticketing system, e-mail or phone calls. Main tasks • Monitor the incoming mail • Support users and 3rd parties business answering the phone • Manage the ticketing system • Prioritize, assign and monitor end user requests / problems • Escalate incident when needed or required as per procedures • Maintain service levels to ensure that services meet current business requirements • Provide troubleshooting and resolution of problems to end users and ensure incidents are logged and maintained into the ticketing system • Ensure adequate documentation. Execute in a fully compliant way all activities according to the Company Corporation policies, standards, guidelines and recommendations. Skills/Knowledge required: • Min. 2 years JDEdwards knowledge in Finance or Distribution module (a must) and a previous working experience in JDEdwards system • Very good level of English written and spoken, other European languages is an asset • EDI and Interfaces knowledge is an asset • Good knowledge of Distribution or Finance processes Excellent communication skills Excellent problem solving and diagnosis, analytical and troubleshooting skills |
